The Association for the Health Care Environment Presents 2020 Fellow Recipients

The Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE), a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association, has announced the recipients of the 2020 Fellow Recipients. 
 
•    Ed Barr – General manager for Sodexo in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for his paper titled, Hospital Waste Streams – Managing What Goes Out the Back Door. Mr. Barr has been a member of AHE for 34 years, served as president of the greater Philadelphia AHE Chapter for 13 year and served as president of the greater Philadelphia Recycling Council for 13 years. In his spare time, Mr. Barr partners with Holy Redeemer church to provide vocational training for specials needs students in the area, which helps them graduate with skills that can provide employment opportunities. 
 
•    Lisa Ford – Client executive at Sodexo Health Care Services in Feasterville, Pennsylvania for her paper titled, The Impact of Communication and Motivation on the Environmental Services Workplace. Ms. Ford has been with Sodexo for 29 years and served on the board of the greater Philadelphia AHE Chapter for 3 years. In her spare time, Ms. Ford organizes volunteers for Philabundance at the Philadelphia food distribution center which provides food boxes for seniors.
