The Association for the Health Care Environment Announces Newly Elected and Appointed 2021-2023 Board Members

CHICAGO, August 17, 2020 – The Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE) announces the newly elected At Large Board Members for the 2021-2023 term are: 

Nazar Masry, CHESP, T-CHEST, T-CSCT 
Nazar is VP of healthcare, laundry & facility operations for Job Options, Inc. He has over 16 years’ experience in environmental services and 11 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Nazar has been a member of AHE for 10 years, and is a current board member. He has been active in the education and knowledge management committee, planning committee, advisory committee and is currently involved in the development of the AHE staffing tool.

Eric Nowak, MBA, T-CHEST, T-CSCT
Eric is senior director of environmental services at Geisinger in Danville, PA. He has 5 years of experience leading EVS across 9 hospitals at Geisinger, and 7 years of experience as a supply chain professional, also with Geisinger. Eric has been an AHE member for 5 years, has participated in the review of EVS Department of the Year nominees, and has been active in the education and knowledge management committee and advisory council. Eric was a subject matter expert for the CHEST training program.

Appointed to the Industry Liaison position for the 2021-2023 term is:  

Martin McGonagle
Martin is general manager for SC Johnson Professional Healthcare in Charlotte, NC. 
He has over 20 years of experience working in various aspects of health care as an industry partner and was a former commissioned officer in the army. Martin has been an AHE member since 2017 and has participated in the AHE strategic planning committee.  

New board member terms begin January 1, 2021.
