Sexual transmission of Zika virus is possible and is of particular concern during pregnancy. Current information about possible sexual transmission of Zika is based on reports of three cases. The following document and infographic explain the three cases, explain what we know and don't know about the Zika virus, and provide recommendations for men who reside in or have traveled to areas with active Zika virus transmission and their sex partners.
