Mr. Henry began his career in healthcare environmental services management 29 years ago as an Assistant Director at Largo Medical Center in Largo Florida. Since then he has served as Director of Environmental Services for Baylor Medical Center at Irving, Regional Manager and Shareholder in Crothall Healthcare Inc. with responsibilities for 8 hospitals in Arkansas and Texas, Director of Environmental Services and Emergency Management Coordinator for Lake Pointe Medical Center, and Director of Environmental and Patient Transportation Services at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX. Mr. Henry joined with Vanguard Resources Inc. in 2013 and is currently the Director of Environmental Services at Texas Health Resources, HEB Hospital in Bedford, TX.

In 2000, Mr. Henry was appointed Chairman of the Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) Certification Committee and was instrumental in the development of the CHESP certification program and assessment. Jim also served two terms on the American Hospital Association’s Certification Committee. Mr. Henry, a recipient of AHE’s esteemed James Wolfbrandt Mentor Award, holds certifications in HAM Amateur Radio and Haz-Woper First Receivers Operations Level. He has served on several Joint Commission Preparedness teams and has been actively involved with the AHE, serving on its Board of Directors for three terms.

Mr. Henry currently resides in Wylie, Texas with his wife of 37 years, Pat. They’ve raised two sons, Josh and Jacob.
