Training Model

Delivery Method

CSCT is built on an innovative Train-the-Trainer model (T3): facilities select a representative to be trained through an AHE CSCT T3 workshop, the representative then delivers the CSCT training in their facility directly to technicians. The instruction delivered at the AHE T3 workshop will include the same information T-CSCT will be delivering to prospective CSCT during facility training sessions. AHE will be providing trainer resources to T-CSCT who have completed the program (facilitator guide, videos, game cards, etc.). T-CSCT may deliver the content over any desired number of sessions, provided they adhere to the curriculum and required number of hours per module.

  1. Select a representative to attendee a two and a half day trainer workshop to become a CSCT Trainer, or T-CSCT.

  2. Upon completion of the training, the T-CSCT is designated to train technicians at your facility using AHE training materials

  3. After completing 16 hours of in-person training sessions conducted by the T-CSCT, CSCT candidates must take and pass an exam.
